    Corey Williams

The Packers are unlikely to re-sign free agent DL Corey Williams.

With Albert Haynesworth likely to be franchised by the Titans, Williams is set to cash in as the top defensive tackle on the market. The Packers are deep enough to withstand the loss with Johnny Jolly, Ryan Pickett, and Justin Harrell all locked up.

I wouldn't mind looking into Williams as a 3-4 DE. He has ideal size at 6'4 313 and has averaged 7 sacks a season over the past two years. Only 28 years old and in the prime of his career.

If we get rid of D-Rob, then sure, but if we don't then I don' think its much of a need, unless we upgrade the O-Line and LB corps.

I've been touting him for a while. He is a very active player that seems to get in the backfield and yet is responsible against the run. He'd be a good player to pursue.
