    Duh, to draft McFadden!

No way does Porter start over Cotchery. Cotchery had a 1,000 yards last year. He is a stud at WR.

You forgot about Eric Barton. Are you cutting him or are we going to have another ILB?

Also Jacob Bender and Wallace Wright are missing as well.

This is one of the better overall mock off seasons that I've seen as far as realistic FA pursuits and the draft. I agree with your cuts for sure. Seems nicely planned out to cover areas we need more than one upgrade in. (WR and O-line) Not sure about the quality of a guy like Milford Brown but overall this is a very good plan. Nicely done.

Thanks Beer. The set up with Brown is his versatility on the line and would be an uber back up on every position on the line.

Lots of things to like here. I would prefer to use that second 3rd round choice on a CB rather than ILB... maybe somebody like Godfrey from Iowa.
    Nice job overall.

    not impressed..

why cut Coleman? he's a decent player with a cheap contract.
why cut Clement? he's not cut out for a starter, but is nice cheap depth
why cut Barton? he's a solid LB with a reasonable contract. instead you want to give hobson a payday?

    FA -
Porter sucks. he's living off of 4 seasons ago.
Williams is D'Brick size - 6'5 302.. an upgrade for sure, but i'd rather go big
With all the FA Gs, getting Brown would be very.. underwhelming.

The draft day trade - dont see why the Saints are moving up.. Ellis? seriously? this is more a jets fan's wish than a realistic proposal.

the draft - Rubin isnt lasting until the 3rd...

otherwise, I'm all for Volek and Pace

    I never cut Coleman.
Clement is probably good for depth but I chose to get younger on the line.
Barton is older than Hobson and i doubt hobson gets a large payday regardless where he signs.

Porter was injured a couple of years ago but last year still managed to catch 45 passes and a few TD's and wanted out of Oakland. I think he would be cheap and could have a monster year in a good system.
Yes Williams is somewhat like D'Brick but from the right side it's less of a liability.

Brown would be underwhelming? So having Montgomery or Clarke is a better alternative? the guy has played all spots on the line. Underwhelm me all day with that versatility.

New Orleans run defense is porous at best. Ellis would help solidify there D-line. Who am I to say?

Because of all the hype Rubin isn't going to last to the third? Maybe he doesn't but maybe he does? Speculation is king in any mock. I chose not to Maddenize it.

Thanks for the criticism. I buy and sell Cisco gear. What do you do? Scout?

Clement is horrendous, if he is on the team next year in any capacity I'm questiong the sanity of the FO.

Barton is well past his due date. He is not the same player he was 2 years ago.

Put me down for a dozen CRS-1's, fully populated with 10GE and OC-768 linecards. I'm good for the money, I swear.
