What the hell did Clady do at the combine that made him surpass Long as the best tackle? He looked soft.

Oops. nvm. I didn't realize long went #2 for a sec

I like the Jets haul in this draft. Add Crable or Avril at the top of round 3 and I love it.

I get all excited about a new mock and then you go and ruin it for me by telling me what it says.

No way Avril last to Round 3.
After the Combine, I doubt Crable gets to the 3rd either

That was one of my first thoughts too...I looked at 1-16, jumped to the second round to see who we took, noticed that Rubin wasn't in the second round and then checked to see if he was at the end of the 1st round. He wasn't. Red Bryant went ahead of him as well.

That would be a real coup if we picked both Nicks and Rubin up in the 2nd/3rd

Edit: Cliff Avril and Shawn Crable also available in the 3rd. (which I see has been mentioned above.)

Another mock, another Jets' D-Mac selection at #6.

    Scott Wright disagrees with you.

Rubin's probably a best fit in the 3rd but it's a big risk if we plan on waiting that long. If we want him he's probably close to automatic in the 2nd. It's 50/50 in the third, hence the dilemma.

Our need for a true NT is so dire, I love him in the 2nd right now!

I agree. I'd be happy to get him there and I believe he'll be available.

It was just getting out of hand the other day with people saying he'll go at the end of round 1.

If we could trade down with Dallas and get Groves and a RB that would be sick. That's what I am hoping for right now, there might even be another pick involved with a trade down. On the other hand, McFadden is great and could be the face of this franchise for years to come... but if his off the field issues come back to haunt him we're in bad shape
