Reuben Stoddard might make a pretty good DT. He has to be 340 lb. easy.

    Moss In The Fold

Patriots, Moss reach agreement on three-year contract
Adam Schefter By Adam Schefter | NFL.com

The Patriots and free agent wide receiver Randy Moss agreed to a three-year, $27 million contract on Monday, reports NFL Network's Adam Schefter.

The two sides are reviewing the contract, which is expected to be signed today.

Moss, 30, was an unrestricted free agent after the Patriots elected not to designate the 10-year veteran as their franchise player.

In his first season with the Patriots in 2007, Moss set the NFL single-season record with 23 touchdown receptions, while catching 98 passes for 1,493 yards.

Even if the Pats keep Moss......

Does our defense look like we can shut the pats down? I think we can beat them our defense is perfectly capable of keeping their point totals low plus the Pats defnse is a mess, and our offense can put up a lot of points on them.

Draft Gholston and find another conrer opposite of Revis... And guess what? I feel that we can pressure Brady like never before with Gholston, Harris, Barton, Pace, Ellis and Jenkins with Rhodes ball hawking in the secondary and Revis playing tough man to man defense... Im telling you, us Jet fans have every right to be pumped up about this upcoming season!

Its funny how the Patriots are taking 4ever inorder to resign one of thier own players, when the Jets just upgrades 4 positions with 4 veteran players, LG, NT, OLB, and RT

First the Jenkins trade, then the signing of Faneca, then the signing of Woody... Now the signing of Pace, lol... While the Pats have not even signed Moss yet while Samuel, Stallworth, Colvin and Gay have all landed on other teams.

and the Patriots are trying to "buy" their way to respectability..I think the Jets offseason is the very definition of "buying their way" to respectability

Samuel - Another "marquee" player to leave the Pats and do nothing
