Edit: Changed the link, it seems to work better now.

Anyways, I forgot this from Rotoworld.

    Kwame Harris-T-Raiders Mar. 4 - 9:08 pm et

Raiders agreed to terms with T Kwame Harris on a three-year, $16 million contract.

Oakland had a close-up look for Harris' struggles, but that didn't discourage them. While this makes the Raiders slightly less likely to draft a tackle with the fourth overall pick, Harris will probably best be used as a reserve "swing" tackle.

Too bad they don't show the whole video. That is classic! Kwame Harris was absolutely horrible for the 49ers. It just goes to show that all you have to be is a starter in the NFL to be a millionaire. IMO the only reason the 49ers kept starting him was for the millions they invested in him for drafting him so high in the 1st round. The 49ers just got better getting rid of Kwame Harris!

All of a sudden, overpaying for Calvin Pace doesn't seem so bad.

The Raiders might take the cake for the worst management in football.

They gave the slightly above average Tommy Kelly the biggest contract ever for a DT. Then make very average Gibril Wilson the highest paid safety in the league. Now they shell out big bucks for the ebony version of Robert Gallery.

Resident Raider fan claims that Harris is "better suited for their blocking scheme". he is so optimistic - he thinks that Harris "may be the starter".
Nice. 3/16 for a "may be" at best. May be he got no SB, and his salary is really 1 mil, 5 mil, 10 mil?

TOm Cable- Raiders oline coach who did a masterful job with the OLine last year feels, that K Harris will fit their system very well. There is a very good chance K Harris is the starting LT for the Raiders. Who cares what K Harris look like playing for the 49ers. The blocking scheme is diffrent. There is a reason in a denver type of blocking scheme ,they usually don't take Olineman with high draft choices. The oline coach feels he can get Olineman that fit their scheme, later in the draft. ITs like Denver Olineman you put them in a another scheme(and they are going to look horrible- so many Denver FA olineman bust with other teams, only to come back and look alot diffrent)

JMo This is will prove to be a very good signing for the Raiders. K Harris is only 25 , he smart, athlethic and thats very important qualities to have in a stretch and cut blocking system.

The guy is abysmal in space and gets eaten alive by speed rushers. And you want him at LT??

Raiders set the record straight. Were not the Jets we didn't over pay for talent. Thank God for Al Davis. There's a perception in league circles that the Raiders are overpaying free agents in order to lure players who might not otherwise be inclined to play football for a team with a well-greased revolving door at the head coaching position.

And so the Raiders are putting the word out that the deals signed by some of the team's new free agents aren't as strong as advertised.

As Jerry McDonald of the Contra Costa Times points out, it's virtually unprecedented for an NFL team to correct the record regarding the published details for player contract -- but not for the reason McDonald articulates. Though we agree with McDonald's assessment that the perception of big spending could help the Raiders lure other players, teams typically are reluctant to throw water on the numbers that make it to the press because they're happy to let the player think he got a better deal than he really has. If the team publicly undermines the player's contract, the player might acquire a chronic case of stick-in-butt disease early in the relationship.

As to receiver Javon Walker, the Raiders contend that his reported $16 million guarantee is made up of a $6 million signing bonus, a $5 million base salary in 2008, and a $5 million base salary in 2008. Some agents would argue that this money is as a practical matter guaranteed because the Raiders aren't likely to cut Walker after only one season.

But we disagree with that. Avoiding $5 million in base salary and carrying $5 million in dead money next year is, in our view, a wash. If Walker doesn't work out this year, we think the Raiders wouldn't hesitate to cut him.

So the actual guarantee for Walker is $6 million and the practical guarantee is $11 million.

Also, the Raiders contend that the deal given to tackle Kwame Harris, reported as three years and $16 million, is actually a one-year, $3 million deal.

That would make sense since D'Brick is a below average starting left tackle and Harris plain sucks.

No mention of BB being a scumbag.
