His food selection alone suggests he's a #7.

His Gumpish speech is at first alarming, then charming and, if you can process the words, it sounds like he possesses a respect for the game.

Sounds like. I didnt quite get all of it.

Thats called "a Mangini guy", my man, if I heard right.

I don't think the Jets would even consider Harvey at 6.

If the Jets take a defensive player at 6, my money would be on either Leodis McKelvin or Sedrick Ellis assuming they're both still on the board.

If Jets go offense at # 6, I'd bet on McFadden if he's there, or, Rashard Mendenhall if McFadden is gone.

As it seems I've discussed [EDIT: Argued] this at nauseum with some in the DF I'll keep it short and in main page slang.

If McKelvin and Ellis are both off the board before 6 I will pay you $1000. You have my word, I'm good for it.

I'd rather have McKelvin, we need another solid CB prospect.

Brohm and Harvey are the two giant matzah balls that the Todd McShays of the world are refusing to acknowledge in the top 6-7 picks.

I really, really wish McKelvin had had not checked out and been exposed throughout the general process.

I'm a little slower than normal today Rutgers, what do you mean by that exactly?

Not a fan, nothing truly stands out about him like the other tier-1 CB's (i.e. Jenkins physicality, DRC's speed....etc.), He's a good prospect with limited upside, plenty of people (including myself) expected him to be exposed throughout the course of draft workouts, but his measurables wound up checking out. Only reason he's even considered a top 10 pick is due to the weakness of the class, in a normal year he'd be a mid-late first.

What's your take on Rodgers-Cromarte and Talib?

Talib in theory should have been able to take the #1 CB position with his natural ability from the get-go but couldn't, which is alarming. Fantastic workouts though. The guy's one hell of an athlete and one of the most fluid CB prospects I've ever seen. On the flipside, he's incredibly inconsistent and not a very intelligent player.

DRC's as raw as it gets and is undersized, however had he played for a bigger program he'd probably be the #1 CB on the board. Dude's going to take some time though, he's not going to be a productive starter off the bat like guys such as Jenkins.

Would you take Jenkins over McKelvin?

I'm certainly in the minority on this one, but yes.

Didn't Jenkins have some kind of injury that required surgery or am I thinking of someone else??

theres not one CB i would touch in the top 10. All these players are shooting up because the class is so weak, if revis was in this draft he would probably be considered a lock in the top 5 lol

It's been along time since we've had draft that's this intriguing. I can't wait to see how this unfolds.

The Jets aren't taking another CB with 6 overall.... and Ellis is another D-Slob... so him at 6 would be an outragously stupid pick.
