Title pretty much says it all. Anyone got anything? Any updates on Harris and Coles?

I was wondering myself how this went, with everything else going on, I hadn't heard anything.

Sooth, I didn't see anything specific on the QBs. Was the practice more focused on defense and special teams, or does somebody have more info on the QBs?

Haha. That must mean that Clemens looked better than Chad again and JI couldn't bring themselves to report it so they just conveniently left any inforamation about the QBs out of the report.

    QUICK HITS
On a steamy day at Hofstra, coach Eric Mangini was not pleased with the morning session and it ran 2:09, his longest practice of camp. Guys were "just trying to get through practice and that's not acceptable," said Mangini. "Everybody has to uphold their end of the bargain."

In the afternoon, the Jets looked sharper in a practice devoted mainly to special teams.

QB Kellen Clemens had his first interception-free day of training camp and threw the ball well. ... QB Brett Ratliff (two interceptions in the past two days) has cooled off.

WR Wallace Wright had at least three drops and TE Bubba Franks two in the morning.

Although practices are non-contact, S Kerry Rhodes leveled WR Chansi Stuckey during one drill and S Ron Girault was hammered by OL Robert Turner during a special teams drill.

The Jets will have their Green and White practice tomorrow at Hofstra's Shuart Stadium at 1 p.m. The festivities start at 10 a.m. and fans are asked to bring non-perishable food.

    TRANSACTIONS
The Jets re-signed S Nate Lyles and waived LB Jerry Mackey.

    DEPTH CHART
Veteran Ben Graham is the only punter in camp and is kicking well after a so-so performance in minicamp that sparked talk that he might lose his job. Graham still puts a unique backspin on the ball that makes it difficult to catch.

    INJURY REPORT
WR Laveranues Coles (leg) and LB David Harris (leg) didn't practice for the third straight day. RB Jesse Chatman (banged up) sat out both practices. S Artrell Hawkins (soreness) missed the morning but returned for the afternoon. TE Chris Baker (PUP list, back injury) remains sidelined. LB Matt Chatham (foot) returned to practice after missing one day.

Thanks for the report, Ballhawk...good to hear Clemens didn't turn the ball over in the afternoon session either. Hopefully he can keep it up.

Sorry, dude. If I do get banned for 24 hours, Favre will probably be a Jet!

Plus, I was only talking about hang time on his deep throws!
