That defensive third down conversion % is a big problem.

And 32nd in FG% is going to lead to a heartbreaking loss.

Pretty interesting stats, I was looking at alot of this stuff on NFL.com this morning because our defense is ranked like 24th overall/yds per game, mainly because of the last 2 games.

But there are some good defensive stats that jump out at you, right now the Jets defense is currently ranked after week 4:

5th in the league against the run - 75.5 yds per game.

Tied for 4th in the league in sacks with 13.

Tied for 6th in the league in INT's with 5.

Tied for 3rd in the league in forced fumbles with 6.

    On offense:

The Jets are currently ranked 4th in the NFL in scoring offense/PPG with 28.8

11th in passing offense but only 28th in rushing offense.

Agreed, I bet we were very near the bottom last year as well. Sutton calls chicken **** defenses on 3rd down.

Most of them though are a exaggerated due to the fact that we've faced the third most pass attempts in the league.

We are actually 11th in the league in sacks per attempt, and 12th in INT's per attempt
