I still can't believe we got a draft pick for that guy.

KC fans have to be beside themselves.

If KC doesn't start winning more games, Herm may not finish the year there.
If they go like 2-10, he get's fired before game#13. Just my 2 cents.

Herm is a master motivator. I'm very disappointed that you forgot that. Imagine how good the 2002 or 2004 Jets might have been in the hands of a competent head coach.

What I said back then is now confirmed as true:

The 2002 and 2004 Jets are exactly what a Super Bowl team like the 2002 Bucs or 2001 Patriots would have looked like without a Gruden or a Belichick. On sheer ability alone they'd eek out 9 or 10 wins, get a wildcard berth, and lose in the playoffs to a team with equal talent but vastly superior coaching.

    Herman Edwards is the Devil.

Herm's done after this year, and it's going to be a loooooooooong time before he ever gets a head coaching position again in the NFL.

In all fairness, some guys just aren't meant to be NFL head coaches. Pete Carroll might be a great example. I could see Herm out of the NFL but finding a really good niche as head coach of a decent Div. I school. It's not a knock on the guy, I just think he's better suited someplace other than the NFL.

They're grown men. They knew what they were getting with Herm, they saw first hand what a Hackett type offense does.

Herman Edwards is rumored to be replacing Chris Berman on ESPN:

"There he go! And he could.....go....all.....the.....way, well maybe not all the way but maybe most of the way. You know, when I was a child I used to think that I could go all the way but my father, who was a military man, well, he said "son, you don't know what it's like to go all the way" and that's what I used to tell my players. Oh, TD right there. And this guy right here, this guy, he rumblin'....stumblin'.....speaking of rumbling and stumbling, I once had a dog and he had three legs. No joke, only three. Don't know what happened to the fourth. Well, he ran as best he could, but he couldn't go all the way, just like my papa said. Look now on the screen there's Dustin Hoffman Keller or 'Helen Keller' as I likes to call him."
