When was the last time we were favored by 10 or more?

I honestly can't remember... Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

    Raiders game 2006 week 17?

EDIT: Yup, the line was Jets -10.5, BTW I don't think we are favored by 10+

Are we favored by 10+ now?

I think we should win this game, but I don't see us scoring more than 24. Can our defense hold them to 14 or less? Even with Fitzpatrick starting? Not sure.

Wow, the line must have moved quickly for that game, because I distinctly remember mulling over Jets -12 at least a couple days before that Sunday.

No. It was 10.5 the whole week.

    That sounds more realistic.

No it wasn't. Lines change...go look up Sportsbook's line movement history if it's possible. Trust me.

Line opened at -6, its -9 now on my book, it'll probably move to 10 or 11 tomorrow.

I coulda had -6.5 when JI first broke the news to me, but I can't take the Jets against a backup Qb. We always seems to lose to these guys..

I the line goes over 10, I take the bungles

CTM, we actually do pretty well against the Bengals. We're 13-7 all time against them (including a playoff win).

In fact, from 1992 until 2007, we've met them 6 times and had a 5 game winning streak until losing to them in '07.

So, even though it's not a given, I'm feeling pretty good about the Bengals tomorrow.

That's what everyone seems to be forgetting. Yeah we have a history of backups doing well against us, but many of them were division rivals (which are always tough games regardless) or teams we tend to struggle against.

We really have no such history against the Bengals. Maybe the QB does play respectably, but that doesn't mean it goes down as an "L" on our record.

Plus we seem to come out ready after bye weeks, so hopefully we're prepared for WHATEVER Cincy throws at us . . .

True on the two above, but being unwilling to lay a TD doesn't mean I think we'll lose..

I just don't know, it seems throughout out history whenever it looks like something breaks good for us we fall flat on our face. Outside the division as well. Anyone remember when St Louis came to visit with Marshall Faulk hurt and some guy named Trung Candidate replacing him?

We should have lost to the Bengals in Palmer's first start as a pro. If they had another minute or so we probably would have. He threw some of the prettiest balls that game and I remember thinking he was going to be a stud.

we will probably be 10+ point favorites when we play the rams, and cleveland continues to produce nothing
