What was up with the sideline?

I hadn't seen this discussed, but what was up with the phantom side line on the one side of the field in tenn? I saw a few players that were confused about where the actual sideline was and McCrap-hands even toe tapped at the false sideline, when he could have gained more yards on that play?

I noticed that on the first play when i thought cotch was out of bounds, it looked like they put new grass on that sideline. Very confusing at first.

I saw that watching it at a bar but figured it was just the TV I was watching.

Lazy ground crew. They should spray painted it prior to the game to match it up. It was in strips and was confusing.

What about that huge blood puddle on the field the whole game?

    Looked like a crime scene.

The joys of having a grass field in November. Field Turf sucks, but at least it doesn't cause problems like that.

Same thing with me, I assume another sport had been played on the field and they had not done a good job of repainting. On one play I was screaming at a late hit out of bounds against one of the Jets and to my chagrin realized it was that fat white line and not the true out of bounds line.

That was markings from flares that they used in the beginning of the game to have some parachute guy drop onto the field.
