    OT - Laptop Purchase Help

Hey guys, sorry to clog the board with OT bs, (its not like me unless I'm posting a picture of a hot chick). Anyway, I'm looking to purchase a lap top for business and personal use and haven't really kept up on the computer industry lately.

What I'm looking for is something that I can run the normal PC apps on, (Word, Excel, Outlook) but is also powerful enough to handle basic internet functions, play movies etc. (and yes even stream a little porn now and then )

Certainly not looking for something top of the line but not looking for bottom of the barrell either.

What would you reccomend in terms of specs? i.e. memory, hard drive, processor power etc.???

    Thanks for any help!

    Thread is useless without pics.

Get a Dell. Perfect for lightweight office programs and teh interwebz.

Thinkpad is a great high end option though.

And on the low end.....One Laptop Per Child.....

Dells suck. 75% of the people I sell computers too come in because they had one or more problems with them. Macs are better PC's then most PC's are.
