Seattle's defense can be beaten with a balanced attack; keep 'em on their toes. I predict a good win for the Jets.

Walter Jones to IR, QB Jeff Rowe signed from Cincinnati practice squad
    Posted by Danny O'Neil

Coach Mike Holmgren just finished his Monday news conference. Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is improving, but is not expected to play in Sunday's game against the New York Jets. Holmgren said Hasselbeck most likely will serve as the No. 3 quarterback for the game.

Tackle Sean Locklear suffered a dislocated toe. The toe was put back in joint, but is sore, and Holmgren said it will be a challenge for Locklear to be able to play. Locklear is not expected to practice, and if he doesn't play, Holmgren said the most likely solution is to start Kyle Williams at left tackle and leave everyone else where they are on the line.

Left tackle Walter Jones was officially placed on injured reserve, . . .

Burkhart's in Atlanta, GA. ("Kelly's" bike pictured)

The crowd is decidely male and somewhat on the make. A fun feature is that on the second floor you can lean over a railing and ogle the boys down below. There are a few rooms, including one with a pool table. Karaoke is wildly popular here, offered twice weekly, and Burkhart's hosts drag shows quite often

obviously this doesn't say much but historically the jets have crushed seattle the past couple times and fair relatively well vs. them...those #s, more than anything else, always seem to ring the truest.

    97 @ Seattle W
    98 V Seattle W
    99 V Seattle W
    04 V Seattle W

here's something curious bout the seattle game....

    97 -- parcells 1st game
    98 -- vinny's phantom td
    99 -- parcells last game
04 -- chad's 'it's your priveldge' to see us play speech

this week should be interesting indeed!

The fact that the numbers are so strongly in our favor scares me.

We matchup well in every offensive and defensive category. They've only won one game at home all year (to the mighty Rams, no less). They're 0-3 vs. the AFC. We've beaten them four times in a row (including a big game in route to the playoffs in 2004)...

And I'm still terrified of this game.

Another interesting stat: Seattle ranks dead last (32nd) in kickoff coverage... Maybe Leon takes one to the house?

I believe Hasselbeck has already been ruled out. Wallace is the next coming of Joe Montana this Sunday.

Well if "Kelly" says it's gonna be Seneca, then that's good enough for me.
