I think he's going to retire no matter how this season now ends. He's looked so old the past few weeks, and I think he's even realizing it that now. The love for the game can only take you so far, you still have to make plays and now he's unable to do that.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't retire, he definitely doesn't have it anymore. There were definitely bright spots in the season with him there but the Jets are a team where good players go to die, not flourish.

This is what really gets me! I have been a farve fan for years and was estatic when we got him. But I had an weird feeling about it because farves greatness really came to an end last year with green bay by not going far in the playoffs! Anybody could and should have seen this-I did but like most I had high hopes after we got him and it has showed this season! Also after two rotator cuff surgerys pennington didnt look that great either but we should have kept him since bret was only good for a year or two at most! All we can do now is pray for that miricle that we all want as jets fans!!!

The Jets motto should be something like what's on the Statue of Liberty it would go something like this "Give us your tired broken down short passing arm weary vetrans who just can't cut it any morte

    Where's the love for Faneca?

Franks' dropped pass was hideous. One of the worst I've seen on any level.

Webster Slaughter, Dave Meggett, Vinny Testaverde, Jeff Graham, Frank Reich, Nick Lowery, Wilber Marshall, Tony Casillas, Erik Howard, Art Monk, Leonard Marshall, Keith Byars, Pepper Johnson, Anthony Pleasant, Roman Phifer, Tom Tupa, Bernie Parmalee, Josh Evans, Sam Cowart, Dave Szott, Donnie Abraham, Aaron Beasley, Curtis Conway, Chester McGlockton, Terrell Buckley, Tim Dwight and last but not least, Laveranues Coles Part 2.

I am also going to add a coach to this list: Rich Kotite. In philly, he had led them to the playoffs but with the Jets, well, we should know the story by now.

I couldn't help but laugh while typing this. If the Jets weren't funny, they wouldn't be anything at all.

This team needs group therapy after this loss.

I just find it extremely odd that no matter who the Jets put behind C they automatically turn into Int machines (see Pennington, see Clemens and now see Favre)!!
