Dewayne Robertson note in Shanahan article

This was funny to me, from ESPN:

The free-agent failures of recent years are too numerous to list -- though Dewayne Robertson deserves special commendation for lack of impact this year, a development that could not have shocked his previous employer, the New York Jets.
Hmm... Guess the Jets aren't getting a pick for him

    Good catch.

    Robertson is Bradway's legacy.

We gave up 2 first rounders for that loser and we got nothing in return for him. Epic Fail!!

There can't be any complaints from them. It cost them O in terms of players and or draft choices. Any team with a need on the D line will take a chance on someone, even a bum like dslob..

Shouldn't Bit be in here to defend his guy and tell us how great he can be in the right situation?

The D-Rob trade up and pick was an over-reaction by Bradway for losing all of those players to the Redskins (Coles, Hall, Randy Thomas). He was in hot water with the media and fans, so he tried to make a big splash to make up for it.

According to bit, DFat is still young and needs more time to fully develop.

To be fair to Bitoni, he admitted that he was wrong about Drob. I have respect for him saying that so I for one won't knock him about it anymore.

True. Bradway was the classic panic picker (see - Nugent 2nd rnd)

Also Bradway took Victor Hobson over Anquan Boldin. I remember Bradway after the 2003 draft said he was 50-50 between those two guys.
