GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Tim Tebow is coming back.
The Florida quarterback told a crowd celebrating the school's latest national title that he wants to lead the Gators to another championship.

Tebow thrilled the crowd by saying: "Oh, by the way let's do it again. I'm coming back."

In 2007, Tebow became the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy. In the Gators' 24-14 win over Oklahoma on Thursday night, Tebow completed 18 of 30 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 109 yards.

Seems like a good decision considering his possible draft position. Could turn into the greatest college QB ever.

Its definately the right decition for him especially since they have a new QB coach that specializes in mechanics and can maybe develope him into more of an NFL QB. If all works out well he may have a future as an NFL QB.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Tim Tebow is coming back.

The Florida quarterback told a crowd celebrating the school's latest national title Sunday he wants to lead the Gators to another championship.

Tebow thrilled the 40,000 fans by saying: "Oh, by the way, let's do it again.

"Overall, I just felt loyal to this place," Tebow said after the celebration. "I feel like I'm a role model and a lot of times people start things and don't finish them. I didn't want to be like that. I wanted to be loyal to the university. I wanted to finish what I started and play another year."

Tebow talked to several NFL coaches about his pro prospects -- he said feedback was mixed -- but nothing they told him really swayed his decision. He knew he wanted to stay in Gainesville, and told coach Urban Meyer on Saturday.

"Some of that stuff is tempting at the next level and everything that goes along with it, especially ending on a great note and ending up with a national championship and moving on from there," Tebow said. "But I love these guys and coach Meyer and this program too much. I feel we can still end on a bang next year."

Tebow is one of the few football players in both college and pro who's a real Christian. I'm so worn out by the ones who say they are and live a lifestyle completely opposite. Tebow has good things coming his way.

He's genuinely a really good person. You hear stories all the time about the missions he does and the charities he's involved with. Good things happen to people like that.

It also just so happens that he might be the best college QB ever when it's all said and done. I wouldn't mind seeing him get a shot as a QB in the NFL. If that doesn't happen he could definitely be a WR/H-Back/TE type player. Very hard-nosed and tough. He'll work really hard. Very versatile. I wouldn't mind having a player like that on the team.

Sounds like they were influenced by the BBall team coming back to repeat.

Harvin is my favorite Gators play ever. It would be awesome to get him back eventhough I actually think he should leave.

Good for Tebow. He has no future as an NFL player, so there's no reason why he shouldn't continue to enjoy his college career.

Gators fans can only dream and hope it comes true.

I sort of feel bad for Percy, if he is on any other team, he wins a Heisman sometime during his college career.

    Conflicting reports...
MIAMI (AP) -- Shortly after leading the Florida Gators to a national
championship with a 24-14 win over Oklahoma, junior quarterback Tim
Tebow announced that he would skip his senior season and ascend
    directly into heaven.

Tebow entered the press room to wild applause. A reporter for a 24-
hour cable sports network burst into tears when the 2007 Heisman
winner entered the room. Another threw a pair of boxer shorts on the
podium. Tebow smiled at the gesture and several sports reporters
    fainted.

"Sorry I'm late," Tebow began. "There was a six-year-old boy with
cancer in row 54 and I had to make my way through the crowd to heal
    him."

"I want to start by saying that playing quarterback for the University
of Florida, winning two national championships, has been a great
honor. There has been some speculation about my future and I want to
clear that up right now," he continued.

"Don't go, Tim!" a reporter shouted from the back of the room.

"After much consideration, I have decided to skip my senior season at
the University of Florida and ascend directly into Heaven," Tebow
announced. Upon making the announcement, Tebow was bathed in a
    blinding white light and vanished.

In response to the news, ESPN announced they will have a month-long
tribute to Tebow. ESPN2 will now be known as ESPN-TEBOW and will
feature Tebow highlights (including home videos of Tebow's childhood),
re-airings of past interviews, Tebow-centric analysis by ESPN air
personalities, a Tebow quiz show and a reality show to find the "most
    Tebow-like" person in America.

"He wasn't just the greatest player in college football history," said
a college football writer at the press conference, tears streaming
down his face. "He might have been the greatest person to ever walk on
    earth."

A major reason Spikes went to UF is bc Tebow went there.

They are co-leaders of the team, but Tebow by far the #1 leader.

Tebow's decision will definitely influence Spikes. Watch.

If I was Tebow... I would straight up go to Urban... listen we've won 2 championships...

get me a real QB coach who specializes in arm mechanics and let me focus more on throwing the ball...

    OR I'M OUT OF HERE
