I'm starting to lean towards going corner in round 1 (Vontae Davis/Alphonso Smith) and having Bart Scott be our big FA signing.

Also, it would most likely take a 2nd rounder for Landry since he's a RFA.

Isn't Chris McCalister a FA too?

I don't think we should go CB round 1. I think Rex will bring a number of defensive FA's in when the signing period begins, but we still have needs on offense, like an explosive WR (Maclin, Crabtree, etc).

If we give one of our young QBs (Ratliff, Ainge, or Clemens) a rock solid OL, which we have, a receiving core of, let's say, Maclin, Coles, Cotch, Stuckey, Keller, etc and two GREAT RBs in Leon and TJ, then it shouldn't be that hard for him to manage the game, especially if Joe Flacco did it all the way to the AFCC game.

McAlister is still under contract but the Ravens will cut him in the offseason. Hopefully Rex can bring him in when he's healthy.

We're not getting Landry, the Ravens will tender him and it'd be silly to give up a high draft pick for him. Leonard is a UFA and more realistic. Combine him with Elam to play opposite Rhodes and sign Greer or Bryant McFadden from Pitt and you have the makings of an excellent secondary.
