Nothing new for most of us:

Scott: talked about recruiting him. They don't tamper, so they showed up at the door a couple of minutes after midnight. This recruiting style worked in college, so they tried it with Scott. Mentioned the dogs story and sending the CB coach out of the car first.

younger and more flexible than Ray Lewis. David Harris and Scott can both be the MIKE and cause confusion to the offense.

Sheppard - talented, Pro Bowl players. Revis may finally get more than one pass per game thrown at him from now on.

QBs - he likes the three qbs on the staff. Clemens has 4 years in the system, but has only played 3 games. Finally gets an opportunity to play. Albeit preseason, Ratliff led the NFL with a 122 passer rating. Hasn't had an opportunity to play. It will be an open competition.

    That's all that they discussed.

He also mentioned that the QB situation is "not ideal." You can read into that what you want.

he said "it's not ideal situation in terms of game experience, but the qb's have played in the same system their whole pro careers with the same OC for a few years is to the Jets advantage."

That's just telling it like it is.

While I'm fine with the Clemens/Ratliff situation...it's certainly not ideal.

No, "ideal" would be Joe Namath or Joe Montana in their primes as our 1 and 2, but we missed the boat on that too.
