Wouldn't make any sense for KC IMO. I just want Cutler to end up somewhere already so all of this can end...

It's just another case of the media making up stories. If you were KC, would you trade Cassel for Campbell???

    I thought not.

Not having to play Cutler twice a year is worth something to them, I'm sure. Especially if Denver botches his replacement.
Campbell is not better than Cassell, sorry.

The only winner in that deal is Washington. Seriously, all they give up is Jason Campbell and get Jay Cutler? Denver downgrades at QB, Kansas City downgrades at QB, Washington wins.

Sounds more like wishful thinking then anything.

    Jay Cutler-QB- Broncos Mar. 17 - 9:17 pm et

Redskins GM Vinny Cerrato says Washington hasn't "talked to anyone" about acquiring Jay Cutler from Denver.

"Jason (Campbell) is going to be our QB this season," Cerrato added. While the Skins didn't deny interest in Cutler, they have next to zero cap room. They've already made their big money purchase and Cutler isn't going anywhere without a new contract.

Guys...enough with the Cutler trade rumor BS....Denver hasn't even given permission to his agent to seek a trade, so until that happens, all these so called rumors are a total fabrication....

Exactly...doesn't make sense. Pioli wants Cassel...gets Cassel...then trades him for Campbell...only the ragwriters of sports can make a case for this happening

D'oh! I'd completely forgotten they'd acquired Cassell. Mental block, I guess.

    Jay Cutler-QB-Broncos Mar. 19 - 3:18 pm et

The Bucs and Lions "appear to be the frontrunners" to trade for Jay Cutler, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

The paper has the Jets "in the conversation," but calls it a long shot because New York lacks the ammo for a trade unless another team steps in. The most likely third party could be the Browns, who'd offer up one of their QBs.
