I love the Purvis pick, though I think we are going to wind up drafting another TE as well in the late rounds (Bear Pascoe?)

    Mine would look like this:

    1) DHB

    2) Fili Moala, DT, Southern Cal (praying for Gilbert/Pettigrew instead)

    3) Javon Ringer, RB, Michigan State

    4) Ryan Purvis, TE, Boston College (i also like Richard Quinn round here)

I trust your judgement from here on out

If we went RB in the 2nd, I think I prefer McCoy to Jennings, though its close. On further inspection, I really like Scott in the 3rd, but I don;t think he is there.

Nice draft. I like it alot. Though i think Purvis in the fourth is a reach. I think he goes in the 6th or 7th, maybe even goes undrafted. The guy is alot like another BC tight end that we used to have....Sean Ryan.

I wouldn't mind that. But I'm pretty sure we only have one 7th rounder.

Man I wish we had more picks.

it's a good effort but they signed that dude Green to be the 3rd NT, i don't know that Scott makes the roster. foster, pervis might not be drafted at all.

We receive Green Bay's 7th round pick from Favre retiring.

Blocking TE in the 4th just seems so awkward...I bet theres better value there...I like the Jennings and Scott picks alot...DHB certainly gives us upside at WR...

    C'mon Bit.

Green is a total JAG and is basically just an extra big body on the roster. The guy has been on 7 different teams in his 8 year career and was out of the league for a while.

And I don't know about you, but I sure as hell don't want to count on Pouha being the primary backup to Jenkins once again.

I don't see anyway a guy like Dorell Scott would be cut in favor of those two.

As for Purvis, I think he definitely gets drafted. Although you may be right on Foster. Still, I'd like to try and find a sleeper OT prospect in the late rounds.

that could be... and I do believe he will go in that rd 3 area .. but I would warn about overrating Scott because there is a dearth of real NT in the draft and he was known for an inconsistant motor at Clemson. I don't know that there is any factor more important for NT than motor... you are probably right he's probably an upgrade over green... but I question if the front office sees it that way
