Exactly, what's going to happen to our backup tight end situation?

I'd rather trade up for Sanchez

Yes the guy has everything you want in a franchise QB. I know most of the fans want another OL or DL. I really feel the Jets have to do somthing considering what they have at QB right now. I think this is a utter shame that the Jets are going to waste a season because they wont pull athe trigger and go after a QB. The Jets are not winning a thing with what they have at QB right now. Ratliff performance in training camp should be proof enough.

So Freeman sucks but Clemens, Ratliff and Eric Ainge are the answer?

One of them sucked as a starter, the other has done nothing outside of schooling 3rd stringers in preseason and the last one might not even be on the roster by next season. But forget about that we need a backup tight end.

Yes if Jackson and Maclin and are off the board already

Arm, size, mobility, experience, work ethic, and intelliegence. Sign me up. Give this guy some weapons and an O-line and he'll be sick. 63.5 completion percentage with Jordy Nelson, imagine what he'd do with Cotchery, Keller, Leon, and our O-line.

I'd prefer a trade up to 8 to get Sanchez, but Freeman would be awesome at 17.

Freeman does indeed posses all the main requirements for a franchise QB. The questions with Freeman are his college production and some mechanical problems. THose can be taught. The physical and mental tools are all there.

Ratliff is having a terrible camp read the reports. The guy cant even perform in a no contact camp what happens when he is being rushed at. Sorry I take my chance with Freeman.
