Boston Globe: Moss had "heated" exchange with QB coach

As per the Boston Globe at 4:13pm

According to an ESPNBoston.com report, former Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss had a "heated exchange" with quarterbacks coach Bill O'Brien at halftime of Monday night's victory over the Dolphins.

Mike Reiss cited unnamed player sources, who described the incident as an "outburst" and said that there had been previous incidents of "friction" between Moss and O'Brien. Moss was traded to the Vikings on Wednesday.

Moss was only targeted once in the Miami game and he failed to make the catch on a fake-spike play in the end zone.

Me thinks that this was the straw that broke the camel's back, not an isolated
incident. I wish he was still here but BB isn't going to lose the locker room again
after just getting it back on track with the AD debacle. Prima Donnas - You
can't live with them and you can't live without them.

He was one of the malcontents in the locker room, late for meetings, shooting
off his mouth to anyone who would listen. BB sent him and a couple of other
twits home for being late and the **** hit the fan media wise for a few weeks.
Anyways, long story short: The Sheriff restores order only to find another
brush fire that needs stompin' out. Fire out again, order restored. Camelot
is safe from the evil hordes!

LOL. In all seriousness, this is probably a weekly occurrence on any team with an elite receiver. Most likely, the trade was motivated by a host of factors, including a decline in production, his ongoing unpredictable behavior, and the desire to shelter a young impressionable team from detrimental attitudes.

He refused to join in Bellichoke and Beiber Brady's gay orgies in the locker room.

Not a very good influence on all of the young Tight Ends.

    Well,

I would say his time in NE was pretty productive. What's that saying? You can take the boy out of Brooklyn, but you can't take the Brooklyn out of the boy!
