Thread: Is Sanchez's Arm Injured?

    Is Sanchez's Arm Injured?

It must be. His passes had no zip whatsoever, and he looked like Pennington out there. We've seen his arm, it's strong enough to not look that bad in poor weather.

I picked that up too--no zip on his passes and not tight spirals---I think its more a function of not having played much in bad weather conditions

I wonder if he is a bit too short to clearly see the field. Plus he has so many passes batted down at the LOS. Its sickening.

Maybe he's cold. The announcers did mention he was riding the bike a lot while the defense was on the field.I'm starting to think weather really bothers him.

A problem when he feels some pressure and this was evident in college, throwing off his back foot and putting nothing behind the throw.

Better pocket awareness and they are able to move into a throwing lane.Something Sanchez has to learned if he is going to make it.

Maybe they are more talented. You did see that he had 3 passes batted down today. How many did Brees have? They do have much betetr pocket awareness and sanchez seems a bit indecisive compared to them. They do have more experience too.

They actually move into passing lanes to see downfield, and scramble...effectively...when they are in trouble.

Sanchez' arm strength is fine. He's not injured. At least not physically. He is a mental mess right now. He feels it is all on him and he keeps pressing. Welcome to the NFL, and NY, kid. That's the way it goes.

I've got news for you. Even when this kid was winning some games and throwing some TD passes, his accuracy has been off 85% of the time. Even on TD completions. He's had a few beauties for sure, but he's always throwing behind, in front, too high or too low. This has been the case since he came in last year.

It has not improved. The only thing that has improved is the opposing defenses willingness to drop easy picks. He should easily have 10-15 MORE picks right now than he already has.

Looks like he works out with fellow USC alum/noodlearm QB Carson Palmer. Brady is firing the rock in 53 mph winds putting up 360 yds. But cheer up,Jets should score 9 points next week.....3....6.....___9___

    +1.
The jets love mediocre armed qb's add in shotty awesome coaching and developmental skills and here we are. A lost kid without a chance in hell of reaching his full potential.

Has anyone else noticed that when the ball is in the air to the dump off reciever, the down filed receiver is already blocking. They know they aren't involved in the play so they run down the field 20 yards and block? Shouldn't ALL receivers be an option?
