    Notes from Miami

The Minneapolis Star-Tribune's Sid Hartman reports that Brad Childress will interview for the Dolphins' offensive coordinator job.

Chilly would really have to like the situation in Miami, as he is owed $3 million over each of the next two years from the Vikings, and any money he earns from another job would be deducted from the paycheck he receives from Minnesota. In other words, he'd be working for free. Former Browns coordinator Brian Daboll, Chargers tight ends coach Rob Chudzinski, New York Colonials head coach Chris Palmer and Cowboys tight ends coach John Garrett have already interviewed for the job.

According to the Palm Beach Post, free agent Ronnie Brown will "almost certainly" not be re-signed by the Dolphins.

Brown, coming off his worst season, is headed for his age-30 campaign. While he's got less wear on his tires than a typical 30-year-old tailback, it's fair to believe Brown's inevitable decline started in 2010. The Patriots have been rumored as possible offseason suitors. With Ricky Williams also a free agent, Miami's backfield will have an entirely different look in 2011. Jan. 12 - 2:34 pm et

I think that would be a smart move by Chilly and the Fins, he could slide right in there to HC after they realize signing 'shades' to an extension was a mistake

This imo would be good news for us because it's a system change and that usually hurts a team in the first year.

And one more bleh year and Sparano is out as head coach which helps us further, because the guy can coach.

Yep and now they basically have no QB and zero RBs if both of these guys are gone.

Buffalo's not going to be occupying the basement anymore. Good for them.

Like I have said before, I love it when the circus is OUT of town.
