Now they are saying Jets/Cowboys (maybe). BTW on ebay today dozens of scalpers listed Jets/Dolphin tickets for sale as opening day tickets. None have listed Jets/Giants opening day tickets or any other team for that matter.
NFL Schedule 2011: Could New York Jets at Dallas Cowboys Be September 11th Game?

September 11th Primetime Matchup Will Feature Jets or Giants; Could Cowboys be Other Team?
The NFL is going to have the Jets or the Giants be the featured team in primetime on September 11. It's obvious as to why, and since both teams look to be very good next year, either has that opportunity.
The question becomes who will be the other team in that equation. I can't see a Jets-Giants matchup happening, although you cannot count that out. I cannot see it being a divisional matchup either, so no Jets-Dolphins or Giants-Eagles match.
The ideal matchup to me seems to be pitting a New York team at home against, who else, America's Team. In my mind, the best matchup that could take place here is the Dallas Cowboys at the New York Jets on the 11th.
The NFL would love to put the Cowboys in primetime, since they are projected to do far better this year, and the Jets just went to the AFC Championship two straight years. Factor in everything else and you have a very special game.
They will likely end up going with the Jets-Giants game when all is said and done, which is fine, and the emotion that will go along of it will be very strong.
Wheres the link?
