    Punter?

Who is our punter? Everything that I see has us losing weatherford which sucks if you ask me but I have no idea where he went or who has replaced him.

So who is it? Is there a competition?

    T.J Conley most likely

As of right now they are T.J. Conley, who was here the last two summers, and Chris Bryan, a former Australian rules player who was cut out of camp in 2009 by Green Bay and was cut mid season last year by Tampa.

I'll call the punting competition right now: Chris Bryan over T.J. Conley. Not even close.

or maybe I should just quit my job and spend all day every day on Jetsinsider.

Was it really that big of a deal that I asked? A quick answer is all that I needed. If people arent interested in the thread then it will quickly fall to the bottom and be forgotten. No harm done.

People need to relax about this whole WR situation right now. Get off the ledge. Rex and Tanny will do what is appropriate for the team. I have confidence that they will fill the WR whole with someone. Sign, Trade, or be it a young guy on the roster we will survive.

I'll take the guy with the big leg. It driven me nuts watching guys that can't kick it 50 yards for all these years.

Sounds like this could be Westhoff's last year, which would really suck.

Special Teams have been an unsung strength of the Jets for almost a decade. It's disappointing to see solid STers like Ihedigbo and Brad Smith go, but the loss of Westhoff could be even more painful.

    I'm sure there's a plan....because there's always a plan with Tannenbaum.

It's funny if you go to any Giants board, they'll all list losing our mediocre punter to them as one of the reasons we're worse this year.

Its a punter. No one cares. We have Westhoff.

This is his last year. He said that he would retire after the 2011 season when he signed his last contract.

But why get rid of him? Are the new ones going to be any better? They couldn't have saved any money with this move?
