Great list except Simms is probably the best announcer in the game.

    +1

the list is very accurate except for Simms. Had Theismann not been more or less kicked off the air after last season, he'd still be the all time number one

I like Mayock, Sapp, Irvin and Dilfer...

Berman's schtick is old but still tolerable...

That aside, the fact that Shannon Sharpe isn't on this list at all is criminal...

IMO, there are 7 on this list who truly blow. No particular order:

    1. Berman - lost his mojo a decade ago. Now just a blowhard.
    2. Bayless - A complete waste of god's creation.
    3. Sapp - ?? What does any network goob see in this lump a sh*t?
    4. Irvin - crackhead, loser boy.
    5. Theisman - Yes, he's a NDer. But, man, he loves himself too much.
6/7. Buck/Bradshaw - they are true NYC haters. For that alone, they blow.

Scary how horrible many of those guys are.

Bayless may be the biggest buffoon of all.

He's so friggin' bad, he should be made a mod here.

I like this post because it shows why you dislike them. Everyone has different tastes.

I agree with Berman, Irvin, Theisman and Buck and Bradshaw. I didn't even know Sapp was one.

Bayless is just a hater plain and simple, hates on everything to get a rise. He's like an elf Francessa.

Not sure why Bayless isn't #1. I can tolerate a commentator being clueless (Sapp, Buck), full of themselves (Collinsworth) or just completely out to lunch (Aikman...is he all there?), but Bayless? Has he ever done anything noteworthy in his life? Has he EVER contributed even one useful insight? I'm not even sure why he's still employed after some of the garbage that's come out of his mouth. Complete waste of oxygen and food.

Technically, Sharpe is actually a commomenatator.

If you added up all the suck of all 15 of those guys, it would not even approach the colossal suck of Dan Dierdorf.

Jaws and Dilfer know their stuff. Collinsworth has really gotten on my nerves lately.

How is Bayless even considered an NFL commentator? He's just a paid troll who knows nothing about sports

Completely agree. Mistakes galore. At least twice a game I end up yelling at the TV some variation of, "And he gets paid to say that!!!"

Terrible list, I disagree with about half of these.

Collinsworth rubs some people the wrong way, but he at least understands football and tries to relay that information to the viewer.

Gruden is ok...I enjoy his enthusiasm and his knowledge, but he's a bit over the top sometimes. Either way, you can do much much worse than him.

Mayock is the truth. I don't know why a slight lisp bothers people. If that's his worst quality, then you care more about speech patterns than football. The guy is extremely intelligent and knows more about each player than anyone else in broadcasting.

Simms and Dilfer are both above average.

Jaws is meh. I like him more not announcing but rather simply breaking down film on the old "Edge NFL Matchup" back in the day.

Joe Buck is the worst thing this world has seen since Hitler. And that's the best compliment I can give him. His partner, Aikman, is about as interesting and insightful as Frankenstein. How they are allowed to do the Super Bowl makes me question humanity.

    Berman and Bayless are blowhards.

    Irvin and Sapp are goons.

Theismann, Millen, and Bradshaw have the combined IQs of Forrest Gump and make me second guess the fact that they all actually played football.

... chris collinsworthless is an idiotic, pontificating, blowhard who looks like a scarecrow caked in makeup ...

... theismann, millen, bradshaw, & sapp are all worse ... can't believe that's possible ...

... bayless is far and away the biggest waste on the planet ... if i never had to see or hear his pathetic diatribes again would be a dream come true ...

Nantz seems to be a Jets hater plus he led to Gus Johnson being let go by CBS.

No more big March Madness endings.

I think Bayless is low because he's not technically considered an NFL commentator, which just shows the level of hate that people have for him.

I think Simms is okay and I dont really care about Mayock.
