I think the title of the post was fairly clear. If you aren't interested, don't click on it.

    Pretty simple, really.

It's also significant because it sets the market for the new young group of TEs that are emerging now. Do you you think in 2 years the Pats are going to spend a combined $15-20m/year on the TE position with Gronk/Hernandez?

No they'll resign Gronk and replace Hernandez in the draft or with a cheaper mid-level FA.

The way Finley played against the Giants in the playoffs it seemed like the Giants should be paying him instead of GB.

Exactly and not just the Pats but the Jets with Keller, who is entering his last year of his contract.

If Finley is setting the market then Keller should come in around $3 million a year tops. He is less than half the player Finley is.

But I still don't see how he is on the team past this year.

Good for Packers--maybe the guy will learn how to hold onto the ball this year. If he does the Pack will be whack.

This takes away any shot we have at landing Trent Richardson.

Now GB will franchise tag Flynn, and a team in the Top 10 who needs a QB will trade for him. GB has very little needs, but RB is one of them. No way they pass up on T-Rich

Nobody's giving a 1st round pick for Flynn.

    Come on, people.

I dont know exactly what Rodgers contract is but, if they franchise Flynn wont he be making more than Rodgers? I dont think there is anyway the Packers go into the season with Flynn on the team making more than Rodgers, plus other teams know this so they will be less likely to give a first for Flynn, odds are he is signed as an UFA with no trade needed.
