    Sold my PSLs today!!

So I decided to sell my PSLs in section 111a today to the company I work for. I was lucky enough to break even and got back what I paid for them. The decision was tough but with a son who is 11 and a daughter who is 7, it has become increasingly more difficult to attend these games. My son plays most of his football games on Sunday and my daughter cheers on Sundays as well. We end up only going to a couple Jet games a year anyway. So after having Jet tickets since 1979 it is a little sad that I will no longer be a season ticket holder.

We were just not getting enough enjoyment from the money we spent on them. I am taking the money and joining a new golf club. Between the golf, tennis and pool we will end up getting a lot more use from that, plus I will be able to play probably twice as much golf now.

Thanks!! The beauty of it is that I will probably be able to go to a game or two anyway through the company. Only now THEY are paying the bill.

Sorry for you're loss. Been there done that. You wont regret the move tickets are readily available everywhere without being bound in a contract. Enjoy.

Does anyone know a trusty website where people can put their PSLs up for sale?

You do know, you are NOT going to get a free hat anymore?

Or first stab at Bruce Springfield tickets?

LOL....yea but I thought $60,000 was a little expensive for a free hat. Even though it was a very nice hat.

And you also avoid the possibility of being consumed by flames when the parking lot asphalt ignites and sets the Stadium ablaze. From the grass.

So you have that going for you too.

    thanks

I that should be the case for pretty much any PSL seats in the Lower Level or Mezz A. Sounds like you made a decision that was good for you and your family and you got to watch two years in great seats and were able to get out without any significant financial hit.

like that other guy said -- a win win

    I agree

I misinterpreted his comment about spending 60K for a hat, I guess

I honestly have no idea what the "market value" was for the PSLs. I had been selling some of my tickets back to my company the last couple seasons, we were talking and they were interested in getting seats for themselves, so I offered to sell them mine since they liked the seats. I didnt think it would have been a good idea trying to profit from them since I was selling them to my employer.

in effect he got to watch live NFL games in great seats for two seasons for the cost of his game day tickets and 100 dollars...

Without his PSL expense of 100 bucks, he probably, like me and countless others, would have been stuck up in the hideous upper deck or home watching games on TV

Sounds like that 50 dollars a year (plus the interest he could have earned at current bank rates, of course) was, you're right, Pete... Investment Gold
