    Aren't you married.

    And like, uber-religious seminary-esque dude?

Did you have a fall from Grace?

    Ha.

I was gonna ask the same thing. It seems that Steve has been a little more, er, "worldly" in his posts as of late. IIRC, he really seemed to enjoy when Gata first showed up

Silly question--have you ever been to a REAL "biergarten"?

    Like in Bavaria?

I've been to a bunch, Bad Heilbrun, Bad Tolz, Salzburg (still considered by some Bavaria even tho in Austria )

And the most famous one--the Hofbrauhaus in Munich.

It was established in the 1580s.

A REAL "biergarten"--one of the originals.

It serves THREE beers--regular, dark and wheat.

    Period.

I guess the definition of a biergarten is a matter of opinion.

The sail was great--posted pics in the other thread. Don't know what kind of boat--it's a 40+ footer. We pushed off the Sandy Hook overnight trip to August 23-24.

And it's not a beer garden.

    It's just a bar.

Considering you're not German, must you be so short-tempered with the Potato?

Stokes - did you check the bathrooms? Is there a urinal type device with handles there, made just for vomiting? Now THATs an authentic beer garden.

    I have, yes.

And 3 beers or 300... the good ones have authentic German beers, ones I can't buy at any deli in NJ.

German ones are German ones. American ones have to put in the effort to at least seem like authentic German ones. That entails finding German beers that you can't find elsewhere.

Just like the real ones you've been to.

Like someone said, this place is a German-style biergarten like Olive Garden is an Italian restaurant.

I am actually 1/4 Austrian--some Germans consider that part of Germany.

    Does that count?

Like I said in my previous post, I would go to this place if that's where a party was.

I apologize for having an opinion and trying to have a discussion about it.
No worries, muh-man. I hope to see you there - I will buy you your first beer.

    My choice, of course.

Absolutely. I've dated a few blondes (2-3), but prefer women with dark hair and eyes.

Another Shiner devotee! I like it. I bring the stuff back by the case whenever I head to DE. Can't find it in NYC.

    That's fine.

But let's make sure you don't slip up and let it happen again, mmkay?

So Stokes, you gonna go ahead and organize this anytime soon?
