Lavonte David fined for late hit on Geno

Don't like it. Good call, but it was so borderline that a fine isn't warranted.

yeah, that's bull****. penalty was warranted, but he wasn't trying to hurt geno. he was trying to push him out of bounds. i believe him when he said he thought he was still in bounds.

I think the league is trying to sell the call. Unless you have an automatic fine for all unnecessary roughness calls, there is no reason for that to be a fine. The hit on Kerley? Perhaps. There was a lowered helmet there.

i think it's called, if you come close to injuring a qb with a late hit you're in trouble. but on the positive, refs rarely called late hits on sanchez.

    +1

Plus, it "supports" that the call was 100% legit, and NOT, in fact, debatable.

I believe he already was. A pretty hefty one, according to the reports.

If anyone should be fined, it's Goldson.

League fining him to try to justify a bad call.

The call was fine. Fining him for it isn't.

lol The brain trust of this league are brain dead. In no way did that deserve a fine. Just ridiculous.

Seems pushing a Qb out of bounds which costs your team the game is 1.56% as bad as cheating to win multiple super bowls.
