The big surprise to me....that the Saints are Bottom 5 in winning percentage differential between home and away. I think most people would believe the Saints are a much better home team in that dome than away.

misleading study and very unscientific. it's purely based on point differentials at home vs. on the road
the better conclusion would be that we suck on the road.

If the Jets win Sunday they will be 6-2 at home. The Jets do have a nice home field advantage.

You didn't read the whole article. It also involves winning percentage.

they take the difference between home and road winning percentage. Sucking on the road inflates that statistic.
it would be more accurate to take the AVERAGE winning percentage at home, and compare each team's home winning percentage to that.

Well doesn't sucking on the road suggest that you play better at home?

I have no interest in reading the piece. Every fan knows that for years, the Jets have been a better road team. It doesn't matter how the writer/researchers got there, this is a short-sighted and ridiculous conclusion.

The worst part of having this "advantage " is that the home field sucks. The Giants can have that place

True, but 5-2 is 5-2. Projects to 10-4 (....I did the math!...). So the Jets have been quantifiably good at home so far this year (7-2 if you include the preseason home games, which would be silly, but still).

Grantland is a trash website. It's just Bill Simmons' little private corner of ESPN.
