Guy had a breakout performance at Carolina and against the Saints, chill out, it's all about next year now.

Seemingly he is also thinking it is about next year as well.

I think that could be said for most today. Coples is having a mare, but it's to late for overreaction at this point.

Lets hope he can build on a few solid performances next year.

Four sacks and lots of TFL. And missed games because of a fractured ankle. He's a good player.

If he's a good player what is Chandler Jones, who has 11.5 sacks?

    Coples is below average.

There's a lot more than sacks you know... Coples has been getting consistent QB pressures all season

Coples stinks but he is playing out of position. It wont be until our new coach moves him back to his natural position next year can we really evaluate him.

I've said it all year... Coples is terrible. He'll be a ghost the entire game and then get a sack in garbage time and all the coples lovers go on and on for weeks about the one garbage sack. The guy is a dog out there.

I think people are pissed at Coples because they're expecting a Ware type of player.
    That's Pace in this defense.
Think of Coples as a better version of Brian Thomas.
Tough against the run with a few sacks sprinkled in here and there.

    Tough against the run?!

I've seen doples get blown by so many times this year because he can't contain the edge. He goes to the outside on every play and the running back just runs right by him on the inside while he stands there looking stupid. The browns scored their only touchdown today on that exact play. It's been happening all year.

How about whiney b1tch Jet fans complaining about everything...

    Geno sucks.

    Milliner is a bust.

    Coples stinks.

    Rex is a fraud.

Fvck me, unless people play like Sheldon and Wilk out the blocks then all is lost, hit the panic button and throw them high picks into the street after a few years.

Players need to adjust, develop and let the game slow down. We won 7 games with a rook QB, an Offense devoid of talent, and some work in progress players on Defense, we are in good shape moving forward.

    All is not lost.

I did not watch today but this is an interesting observation. Also a very discouraging one, assuming you are right.
