For some reason I'm only mildly interested in this Cup; maybe I'm all footballed out after the Premier League season where we went so close to the title, but I think most of it comes down to I'm just really cynical after what's been happening with FIFA.
Hopefully I'll get some interest come the quarters, right now next to no interest in it.

I don't buy "G" being the group of death at all. Portugal with a less than 100% Ronaldo is not a great team. It's a solid group, but nothing special. I feel bad for Australia, Chile, Holland, Spain, that's a vicious group

Every world cup roster, historically with various filters available (Age, Caps, total World Cups, etc).
Anyhow, the Penalty call was terrible, but the Croatian didn't do himself any favors by having his hands up as though he pushed him. I'm not sure I understand the outrage on the foul called when Croatian almost scored a 2nd goal. Generally speaking, when a guy crashed into the goalkeeper, that's called. Didn't seem like that big od a miss to me.
