Yes, Sharks are a good team.

3 goals on 16 shots in regulation yes? Not like all 3 were bad goals by Halak.

Any word on Grabo? Can't wait to see the third period tomorrow, I think we outshot them by 20+ for the game.

Have heard that Mikhail Grabovski does not have a concussion. Upper body injury will be evaluated tomorrow. #Isles

Really surprised that he was not concussed. I figured we had lost him for a while last night.

One guy who has not been mentioned over the last week is Josh Bailey. He is night and day from last year -- appears to be confident and he is finishing plays which he didn't do last year. The goal last night was a thing of beauty. Maybe he begins to live up to the contract this year.

Edit: Update on Grabo from Staple:

    Arthur Staple ‏@StapeNewsday
Grabovski won't travel to Pittsburgh with #Isles. Out indefinitely is all I've heard.

Looks like Mcdonald makes his season debut -- replacing Grabo. Still have not seen any word on extent of Grabo injury or how long he could be out:

    Looks like Kulemin-Nelson-Strome, Bailey-Nielsen-Clutterbuck and Martin-Cizikas-McDonald for #Isles tonight.

Mikhail Grabovski awoke with concussion symptoms on Friday after passing concussion test Thursday night, sources say. #Isles

Disappointing showing in Pittsburgh tonight. Power play was abysmal. So many chances...

Yup. And giving up 2 more pp goals. Bad sign when we didn't score on the 5 on 3 and then we gave them one a few minutes later. Halak kept us in this one.

    Disappointing indeed.

The PP looked a lot like last year. Pass pass pass pass pass clear. Pass pass pass clear. Pass clear. Pass pass pass pass pass clear.
Should be pass pass shoot. Shoot the damn puck. Good things happen when you shoot it.

If he is going to be out longer than Thursday, Lee needs to be called up. Of course, Viz may be coming off the IR soon, so it might be an even swap.

I agree on Lee. Much rather see him out there than CMcd.

We may need Viz back sooner than we think. Reports today that Hamonic left practice this AM with upper body injury. Glad we have that additional depth this year, it may be tested early.

Saw that. I'm guessing Grabo gets IR'd today, Viz plays and Hamonic rests. They roll the same lineup as Saturday and then see where they are come Thursday against the Bs. If Grabo is still out (I'm sure he will be), Boulton will probably dress there.

BTW, I just got my Islanders bet ticket from my buddy. Right after the Boychuk trade, I told my buddy who was on his way to Vegas to put $200 on the Isles winning the Cup. I do this with the Jets every year (with the rationale that if they make it the SB, the bet pays for my ticket) so I figured why not. And considering their recent past, they have to be undervalued. I got 50/1 which I think is pretty good odds for this team as you'd think average would be 30/1.

I saw somewhere online they were going for 66/1 but either they came down or that was just a BS site.

I looked online about two months ago, and it was 80-1, if not 100-1.

I don't remember the site I was looking at, but the Isles were definitely a long shot. Maybe it was the Isles at 75-1, and the Jets at 100-1.

Looks like Hamonic is a go tonight and Viz sits out another game. Would have been nice to have our actual full D corp playing for once but hopefully that happens on Thursday.

Hopefully they fire the puck on net tonight instead of waiting for the perfect pass.

Not sure who's in net for Toronto tonight. NHL.com is listing Bernier ahead of Reimer.

wTF? 5-2 at home to Bernier and the Leafs?

    Seriously?

No need to watch the third.
