Really surprised that he was not concussed. I figured we had lost him for a while last night.
One guy who has not been mentioned over the last week is Josh Bailey. He is night and day from last year -- appears to be confident and he is finishing plays which he didn't do last year. The goal last night was a thing of beauty. Maybe he begins to live up to the contract this year.

We may need Viz back sooner than we think. Reports today that Hamonic left practice this AM with upper body injury. Glad we have that additional depth this year, it may be tested early.

Saw that. I'm guessing Grabo gets IR'd today, Viz plays and Hamonic rests. They roll the same lineup as Saturday and then see where they are come Thursday against the Bs. If Grabo is still out (I'm sure he will be), Boulton will probably dress there.
BTW, I just got my Islanders bet ticket from my buddy. Right after the Boychuk trade, I told my buddy who was on his way to Vegas to put $200 on the Isles winning the Cup. I do this with the Jets every year (with the rationale that if they make it the SB, the bet pays for my ticket) so I figured why not. And considering their recent past, they have to be undervalued. I got 50/1 which I think is pretty good odds for this team as you'd think average would be 30/1.
I saw somewhere online they were going for 66/1 but either they came down or that was just a BS site.
I looked online about two months ago, and it was 80-1, if not 100-1.

Looks like Hamonic is a go tonight and Viz sits out another game. Would have been nice to have our actual full D corp playing for once but hopefully that happens on Thursday.
