I'm a little upset we didn't get my favorite underdog Ian Smart, that guy really impressed me in the article the NY Post had on him. :[img]http://www.jetsinsider.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'>

I'd love to see Terrence Edwards get an invite to camp. He is Robert Edwards little brother and has real potential to be a good NFL receiver.

Ian Smart would be my second choice if we could not get Hicks.

No. I followed the draft from beginning to end and I did not see his name come up. Some people projected he would go undrafted, aside from the fact that he didn't go to a high-profile school (C.W. Post) I can't imagine why noone drafted him. This guy has speed, heart & production written all over him. I guess that's why I'm not an NFL Scout.

Tell you what, with Washington having only a #3, a #4 and a weird 7th rounder choice, I would figure most of these undrafted players are telling the agents to call D.C

Honestly, expect a few players that played at local colleges, or grew up in the area to be invited. The Jets 7th rounder, for example, is from the NY metro, but went to school in Philly.........

The Jets are solid organization, and they know local players can't hurt their image in the region. Plus, some of these fellows do become good players--Chrebet, Fiore, Lucas, (Ray originally signed with the Patriots, but...)

    Ian Smart? Who else?

I hope we can get Ian Smart... We could use his speed returning kicks, something we did not address in the draft.
