For the Jets, who do you think is going to make the Pro Bowl next year. List as many as you want...................

John Abraham (seems to be consistently making the roster, the addition of Robertson can't hurt his chances)

Kevin Mawae (also is consistently making the roster, an injury is the only thing that could cause him to not make it)

Chad Pennington (last year he was the most accurate passer and if he can continue to do so this year he is a gurantee)

Kareem McKenzie (only player on the offensive line last year with no penalties)

Mentionables.................

Sam Cowart (was considered one of the best linebackers before his injury, now he is two years removed from the injury and has gotten used to the defense)

Santana Moss (a deadly return specialist who is dangerous in open field)

Jerald Sowell (almost made it last year as the STs player)

Curtis Martin (only two years ago he was second in the league for rushing yards, his age is catching up with him)

nyjet80: you just brought up my personal pet peeve about the NFL. The Pro Bowl is a joke. How many times has Seau made it in a row? He has sucked the last 3 years and still makes it. The NFL has to overhaul the system. I hope all the Jets on your list make it, but in reality they won't.

Two years ago Troy Brown had 101 catches and was an alternate. Guess who beat him out? That would be 12 year veteran Tim Brown with 80+ catches and a couple of more TD's. Made me sick to my stomach.

Will Pennington be receiving a complimentary ticket to the Pro-Bowl or will he be buying his own?

this is just my oppinion and my experience but...............NO FOOTBALL FAN I KNOW WATCHES THE PROBOWL. IMO it is the biggest joke of an all star game this side of Major League Baseball (till this year with the homefield rule). Its nice for your player to make the probowl but watching it is a different story.

"If" is a pretty big word when you are talking Pro Bowl with a QB who has a whopping 12 games under his belt.

I watch the PRO BOWL mainly cause i`m a football junkie . In fact if I don`t use my frequent flyer miles on our second flight to houston next year (for the SB) then I may use them to hawaii for the pro bowl .

The game is unwatchable. They should make it mean something like what MLB did.

I can't believe it took 11 responses for Robertson's name to be brought up !

Pro bowlers are partially elected by fans, so it doesn't mean that much, except for the $100,000 bonus. I want to see the Jets in that game that they play right before the Pro Bowl.

GrennJ&H - I like your list. I'll bet that most of them will make it,................. barring injury of course.

So, let me get this straight...

DeWayne Robertson has a grand total of ZERO NFL snaps, and Curtis Martin with 2 bad ankles and a 60.8 yd per game average make your list...

Meanwhile Travis Henry (1400+ yds and in last year's Pro Bowl), Sam Adams (in the last 2 Pro Bowls and 2 of the last 3 SBs),
and Takeo Spikes one of the league's best LB's don't ?

You must be using some of that crazy "new math" stuff, cause you aren't making much sense here.

This coming from the guy who makes a QB with the same attributes at the end of last year out to be the next Sammy Baugh in Tom Brady.

Patriot fan: But he won the super bowl.

response: Yes, and he looked lost at the end of last year. Did you see the second jet game? He looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there.
