Thankfully, the Jets receivers don't have to worry about those types of injuries with Pennyboy throwing his puff-balls.

Ouch  I don't think dislocated fingers with receivers are all that uncommon. I was watching monday night football one time when they were talking about Favre. All of the receivers from their Super Bowl team couldn't even put their rings on their fingers anymore because they were dislocated so many times. They said in practice that if a receiver dropped an easy pass, Favre would intentionally dislocate their fingers on the next pass. Now that's just mean.

a dislocated finger can be a very minor injury but the puffball comment stings quite painfully

It's kind of hard when you post comments that have nothing to do with the thread. Maybe you could do us all a favor and make your own thread where you can talk about how great the pats are and how bad the Jets are, at least I wouldn't have to read all the threads you ruin with your rambling.

80- First of all, this is a Jets board and I will never start a thread on this site.

Secondly, please show me one post that I ever made stating "how great the Pats are".

Once again, if you don't like my "ramblings", just ignore what I post.

The problem is that we keep thinking eventually you will have something worth reading. Our bad for giving you the benefit of the doubt.

This coming from a fan of a team that has the king or should i say, queen of puffball throwing in Tom Brady. Atleast "Penny"s puffballs are completed at a 70 percent clip.

Do me a favor, Tell Tom Brady that the ground isn't a reciever.

Back to the topic at hand. It sounds like Rogers' finger was a little worse than just a dislocation. They're saying that the dislocated bone actually protruded through the skin and required 2 stitches. OUCH!!

As far as Rogers, did they mention whether he would be back the next day for practice or is this a day to day situation?

Well all us Jet fans can at least take comfort the "puff ball" comment is just coming from a bitter patsie fan who's season is over even before it begins.
Hmmmmm, and what is everyone saying about the patsie's this season?

This was pulled from patsfans.com:

"OL Brendan Stai's visit with the Pats F.O. last week was NOT a good sign. In fact, while coach Bellyache spoke about how he and his staff spent the off season trying to improve the team, the offensive line is NO better than it was a year ago and may be even worse."

I'm sure U guys can finally make NFL history - by being the 1st team to forfeit all their games due to no O line!

The reports said he would miss 2 days but he was going to a hand specialist to find out for sure.
