Too bad it was all sideways.

BTW - do you think Vinny and Hackett are TRYING to make each other look bad?

I disagree with you here. I think Vinny is doing fine! He's a 17 year veteran who does a red zone roll out like a 26 year old (though don't expect him to run it in vs Arrington 1 on 1). He makes all the throws asked of him. Blame Hackett for asking the wrong throws of him!

Hackett doesn't trust Vinny and it showed.

As for running sideways, add Moss to that list.

That was terrible. Moss needed 1 yard and he ran as if he was trying to get 70. Get the 1 first, then do whatever you want. You have to get the first down.

That was a bad decision by Moss. Same with Cherbet. You need to know where the 1st down marker is. Conway got up after the catch and scrambled for the extra yard or 2 on that 17 yard reception. How could Cherbet turn around after 8 tyards, when he needed 9????????

Everybody knows no love lost there.

Good observation Bob, that's one way to get Hackett kicked to the unemployment line and out of Vinny's hair.

On 3rd and 1 with the backers cheating in, my problem is why didn't Vinny check out to a quick screen or try to get the defense to change their alignment.

He ran the play, and then looked to the sidelines as if to say " see I told you so".

His experience should have helped him - do not know why they did not change up.

John Abe looked damn good though last night - one of the few bright spots

It was actually 4 yards needed, and if he went straight ahead he would not have gotten it.
