Does this put Fassill out of options???

If so, he would make an excellent replacement for Hacker, lets go boys, make the call!

afo- Do you think this had anything to do with timing?

Or was Mularkey their 1st choice all the way?

I'm surprised they don't gran Fassel. He has a rep as an offensive guru. He did fine with the Cards Q/B's before his Jints gig. The bills could use a guy like him.

Perhaps the interview didn't go well.

These are the NFL rules that try and protect coaches who are in the process of preparing for playoff games. Not sure if it is a good rule or not.

What do you think is going through CW's and RC's mind this week as they see their window of opportunity shrinking because the Pats are still in the playoffs?

That can't be a good situation.

Tex in 96 the Tuna was saying he was gonna be gone and had the Team in a bit
of a uproar as I recall..And Jet reports had a Tuna sighted off the Coast of Jersey!
Didn't do the Pats any good vs Greenbay in the Bowl that year..I think the Tuna
didn't even fly back with the Team..Protection didn't seem to work for the Pats
that year..

The Boston Globe was saying the other day that Bledsoe still harbors a bit of a grudge against Belicheck and Weis for the way he felt he was treated his last year in New England. Maybe that factored in??
