Trades- This years first rounder, next years 2nd, Pick for Randy Thomas to Skins for Champ Bailey
Free Agency- Sign Tai Streets to a 3 year deal... Sign Al Wilson to a 4 year deal.... Sign Victor Green to a 1 year deal (both backloaded contracts)
Draft- 2nd round- Best Avail WR or LB.... 3rd - Best Avail LB/WR or G ....4th Pickup a DT... Rest Draft Best Players avoiding QB, DT, DE,
Potential Depth Chart:
QB: Chad Pennington
RB: Curtis Martin / Lamont Jordan
WR: Santana Moss / Tai Streets/ Carter or Rookie WR
TE: Becht / Baker
T: Fabini / McKenzie
G: Smith / Yovanovits/ Moore - Best 2 Guards Start
DE: Ellis/ Thomas
DT: D-rob/ Evans/ Fergy
OLB - J Abe/ Hobson
MLB: Al Wilson
CB: Champ Bailey / Donnie Abe / Mickens
FS: McGraw
SS: Victor Green
I think this would be worlds over our defense of last year. Offensively, Tai Streets would give a big target for Chad and he's always worked in a West Coast Offense. If Cherbet plays another year than he would obviously be the #3 Reciever pushing Carter and Rookie for #4 and #5.
**** Edit****
If we dont trade for Champ Bailey, I would move up to the Lions spot of #6. I would trade Lamont Jordan and our first for their # 6 to draft Sean Taylor.

Moss/Owens OR
Moss/R.Williams
The Jets will not get Terrel Owens. The team does not have enough money and the team does not have enough money.
I disagree. We need a tall WR. We dont need 2 stars on our WR unit. We cant afford to have an exclusive corner and a TO. I find that this WR unit would be sufficient for what we need.

Way to much to give up for Bailey. [/b][/quote]
I disagree. Hes one of the best corners. We could use him.

Why is Mo Lewis cut and Marvin Jones retired? Is there a cap hit benefit?
Sign Viktor Green? Why? I can run faster.
Too much for Bailey when we're more than a CB away from serious contention, let along the hefty cap hit!!
Marvin Jones I think will retire. Mo Lewis has said he isnt going to retire and plans to continue to play. Victor Green should retire a jet. Thats why I want him.
Look at my depth chart. I think that puts us in contention.

Why should Victor Green retire a Jet? He can't cover anyone. Marvin is going to retire? I haven't read that anywhere...If you want players to retire as a Jet, why not keep Mo? Victor Green and Mo are in the same boat, they both can't run anymore.....Why not bring Rob Moore back so he can retire as a Jet

Because Victor Green is still a good player. Mo Lewis and Marvin Jones are garbage. Victor Green is still a player and he did world's over what Mo Lewis and Jones have done in their careers.
