They actually got a round further than I thought they would.

    Hey, you'll always have 2003.

Mine is actually not too bad. I moved into the lead in my the Yahoo group I'm playing in last night. I can't remember which poster set it up, but several people from here are in it.

Plus, my final four are all still alive.

Hey, 2003 is all I'll ever need, anything else is gravy.

I have my framed Sports Illustrated cover of Melo hanging in my office, got my championship tee shirts, my championhip beer pint glass, coffee mug.

But watch out for next year if Warrick comes back--our three freshmen got some QUALITY time, and we have a good crop coming in.

Preseason Top 10 if Warrick comes back.

EVERY TIME! warrick needs to clinic him. josh pace....50-50. makes a lot of great plays, makes a lot of stupid plays. nobody else wanted to play besides warrick and g-mac. so many terrible passes. people just didn't want the ball!! bama?! not that good, man. this just sucks.

tooooooooo many turnovers. mcnamara was smothered in the 1st half & couldn't do anything. It sure takes the excitement out of the rest of tourney for me

Not for nothing but I caught this thread late.

WHAT THE F HAPPENED TO BILLY EDELIN TO MAKE HIM QUIT THE TEAM MIDSEASON!

All I hear is that he had personal problems.

OK what happened...mom died, girl pregnant,WHAT????

I still have last year to think about and we went further this year then many thought, but to lose 14pts a game from this guy would have helped us even more.

    DAMN U Edelin

    Hey, you'll always have 2003.
Thanks. It was only a month ago and I was thinking they were NIT bound, so the sweet 16 was just fine for me. Also, like you said, there will always be 2003....and up until that day, I NEVER thought I'd see a National Championship in my lifetime, so the rest is all gravy.

If Hak stays, and this kid Josh Wright can alleviate a little of the pressure off McNamara, perhaps we can get back to the dance next year.

Like I said before, I'm not a big roundball fan but I have this crazy feeling that KU is going to win it all this year. The only other time they won the championship was one of their worst seasons. Also it would be too funny if they won it right after Roy Williams broke camp.
