Jaguars | Drafting DE Position Makes Sense To Del Rio - from www.KFFL.com
    Wed, 31 Mar 2004 13:47:20 -0800

Vito Stellino, of the Florida Times-Union, reports Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio will stick to the draft philosophy of drafting the best player available, but admitted the defensive end position is one area where the Jaguars would like to upgrade. Addressing the speculation that the first round selection could come down to a defensive end mainly between NFL draft prospects Will Smith (Ohio State) and Kenechi Udeze (Southern California), Del Rio said, "It makes sense."
