That was then...this is now! With a 2-0 record....if we go 7-7 over the next 14 games we will be at 9-7 for the year. I am not saying that 9-7 will be enough for the playoffs BUT i think we will be 11-5 this year. My gut says that the Defense will be outstanding as the year progresses.

I look at the offenses that we play and I know our defense will only get better and they are playing well (6 turnovers in 2 games)

The secondary will finally be intact as a starting unit for the Dolphins game.

Teams also have to worry about our offense which is nowhere near it's potential.

This can be a good year for us.

Lets try and get to that "second season" called the playoffs.

One game at a time.

one reason why this team will improve from most of the other 2-0 jet teams...Chad Pennington. he brings an attitude to this team, it hasn't had in a long , long time. add that to the improvements we've made and it all points to a very successful season.

I'm not going to go back on the past teams....this 2004 team has brought in a new era of Jets football...you just feel the difference. In both games even when the Bengals and Chargers made a run I just had no fear that the Jets were going to lose.

No, 1995 would be the beginning of that disaster known as the Rich Kotite Era. <_<

1994 was Pete Carol

we beat Buff in Buffalo like 35 - 3
then beat Denver in OT at the home opener - big INT by Mo Lewis (bad roughing the passer on Lott) and winning FG by Nick Lowery set up by a big pass and catch by Boomer and Art Monk

Let's just ''worry'' about the Miami Dolphins before we think about the past....or the distant future....of this team.

Chad said it best - " the next thing is to win a division game and become 3-0". One game at a time.
