On March 19th, 2004, friends of mine were visiting Las Vegas. They purchased for me a ticket from the Tropicana hotel sports book, a $100 straight bet, for the Jets to win the AFC championship game. The odds were 10-1.

I just threw that $1100 ticket in the garbage...

Based on the last few Jets/Pats games, I still don't think you were going to win any money. Too bad Herm and Doug Brien made sure you'll never find out for sure.

poor randy, so young so talented.

on the other hand, he died young enough so that nobody could find out that he was a gay dude. <_<

Didnt mention the Rhodes part, didnt think any body would connect the 2 things, but thats why they go, there is a group of 500 (they say) fans that converge every year there to mark the date.

When you have a future, especially one you didn't buy , its always a good move to hedge, that what most future players do anyway.

Didn't know that. Though the Osbourne she-scum did admit she had an affair with Rhodes.
