    Broncos | Reese Released - from www.KFFL.com
    Sun, 9 Jan 2005 20:19:55 -0800

The Denver Broncos have released RB Johnathan Reese, according to Andrew Mason of DenverBroncos.com.

I know we can't sign him to the P-squad but I would like to see him back.

This kid was solid in camp. If we lose Jordan, sign him as a temporary backup.

BRING THIS GUY BACK!!!! I loved what I saw in camp and the preseason

I happen to like him as well and I think we need to consider the fact that he was running against 2nd and 3rd string players.

Shannahan has an eye for running backs....So why did he release him?

    That is the question.

Nothing special, although he looked OK in camp and the exhibition games. But he did not play much against starters. I would invite him to camp, if he's available. No promises though.

I think he may have been released because the Broncos have like 80 running backs on their team not to mention high draft picks in Griffith and Bell. It cannot hurt to give him a shot...

Have to remember Denver has a lot of players at the running back position- Tatum Bell, Reuben Droughens and the guy from Oklahoma whose name escapes me right now.
Reese chances to stick there did not seem to be too bright with the talent in front of him.

Don't know much about his performance, but 10 of his family members were at the Colts preseason tailgate.

Nice people. I hope he finds a home soon.

Draft a runningback in round 4 and you'll have a better prospect than this waiver wire fodder.
