Do the Jets trade Bryan Thomas for a draft pick after we sign Abraham??
We'll have allot of $ invested in DEs.
What does Thomas make for the upcoming years?

Being Abraham has shown his ability to play an entire season...I think we need to keep Thomas as he has come into his own, and will probably get 50% of the playing time anyway.

we need a good backup for Abraham. Keep both or get some draft picks for Abraham.

    I wouldnt.

'He who shall not be named' cannot be trusted and Thomas provides needed depth.

The Jets would be wise to offer Thomas an extension now. He'll be a bargain and, even if we keep Abe, his versatility --and Abe's lack of durability-- will make Thomas a key component of our defense for years to come.

Thomas wouldn't bring much value, as a guy who is solid against the run but invisible on the pass rush. And with Abe's average of 8-10 games a season, we need somebody else to play.
