You and i have agreed with ALOT!!!!

But this offseason is not one!

I dont know why we would trade our first round pick????

I like the smoot or Baxter pickup, maybe thats why we trade our first????

I like Shazor, but we dont need a WR, and We dont need a MLB especially in the 2nd rond!!!!

The Tatum Bell and B.thomas trade far fetched!!!

But man i love making these Offseson threads but this isnt your best!!!

    Make another!!! im going too!!

For starters, Terry Bradway has already stated publicly that we would not be major players in the free-agent market this offseason, so Walter Jones and Vanderjagt won't happen because of their price-tags (a CB might be a possibility though).

Then you've got us resigning Baker, but picking up Bubba Franks (I'd much rather have Bubba Franks, but again, that's doubtful).

I love the idea of getting Droughns or Tatum Bell- but I'm not a big fan of Bell because of his lack of size.

And our first pick in the draft, absolutely has to be a CB, especially considering that there's quite a few good ones, but they'll be gone by our 2nd round pick.

Interesting scenario you put out, we'll see what happens.

Droughns is an interesting option if Jordan goes. He runs bigger than his size and can come relatively cheap. He needs to hold on to the football better.

Another reason I don't see us getting any big-name FA's is our success in the draft last year-- it's been said here many times, but a fifth rounder (Coleman) ends up starting for us and producing 100+ tackles. If we can have another good draft, we can fill most of the holes we need to with out paying for a high-priced FA at CB, TE, etc.

i like the idea of trading our first rounder for 2 seconds...the draft is deep at corner which is a spot we need...

Continuity is important! Try to resign our own players, add Bubba Franks and add youth and speed at the CB and SS position through the draft.

The only exception would be if Dinger wants Mason

    or

    Henderson wants Baxter

RB's instead of trade to look for:

    Correll Buckhalter UFA Eagles
Rudi Johnson UFA Bengals (drafted chris perry remember, rd 1)
    Anthony Thomas UFA Bears
    Dominic Rhodes UFA Colts

    Could this get dumber?

You can't release Carter or Jordan.. they are FAs. Same goes for Buckley.

You are not even going to tender Carter, let alone sign him to a 3 yr deal!!! What are you crazy?

Bubba Franks is no better than Becht. We can't afford Smooth/Baxter AND JONES. Also who said the Australian punter is any good. I don't care if he can kick it 60 yds.... they can be returned if they are not good.

Ok.. then we get to the biggest JOKE.

Bell or Droughns (both of which want to be starters) for a 3rd round, 2nd round and Brian Thomas? THIS IS A BACKUP POSITION! Wake up.
