Can anyone give a recap of what he said? I went to view it, but I can't because I refuse to download realplayer. I hate that program.

He mentioned that D.Henderson's philosophy is to be aggressive and not the other team the pace of the game. He also mentioned that the group feels more comfortable with D.Henderson's program. He' mentioned that he's getting bigger, and that C.Pennington had some reps.

Outstanding! I'm so glad we got away from Teddy's read and react bullcrap.

Chad getting reps is the best news I've heard in a while! Thank for the recap!

He also mentioned that he could become a leader of the defense and in time he will. He likes that role and he pretty much considered himself a verteran already!!!!

Rich Eisen offered to send him an NFL Network tee-shirt ... asked Vilma if he should send a X-Large?

Vilma replied ... better make it a DOUBLE X, I'm Getting bigger

I think Vilma takes it to another level this year and establishes himself as the next GREAT MLB in the lineage of Butkus, Huff, Lanier, Lewis, etc.

Is he over 200 lbs yet?

Come on Hammer, Butkus, Huff, Lanier, Lewis (you forgot Tommy Nobis).

And Logan Mankins is the next John Hannah.

Its not a stretch to call Vilma a GREAT ONE in the making ... he did win the DROY and tear it up as a neophyte

And if you watched him every week, as I did, you could see that this kid has GREATNESS in his future, barring injury

My only leap, if there is one, is to suggest that he makes that Jump {from DROY to All-Pro} in year two

Barring injury, I think Jon Vilma will be one of the leagues matinee players ... a fixture in the Pro Bowl for many years to come ... which will culminate in a HOF career

Basically, he's everything Marvin Jones was SUPPOSED TO BE {but never was} when we drafted him in the TOP 5 out of Florida State

I knew immediately that Jones was a good MLB ... perhaps very good ... but not much more than that

Now I loved Jones at FSU ... I had him pegged as a monster as well, same as everyone else ... but soon as I saw him in the NFL, I knew we had a Quality Starter for a number of years, but NOT the MLB we expected

With Vilma I saw the complete opposite ... everything about this kid spells Greatness ... he is a tremendous football player ... a phenom ... so unless he gets bored {and don't count on it, cause he has a real passion for football}, or suffers a serious injury {GOD forbid}, I think he will be a whirlwind and a force in this league for a long, long time

JMO, but don't bet against me on this one

For the record smart guy, he's around 230, and don't be surprised if he ends up at 240. BTW your head coach Mumbles the Great was all set to pick him last year. I'll say this right now...Vilma is better than any LB on the Patriots. PERIOD.

Hope you enjoyed your recent run of success. Cuz it's over.

Wow. That will piss the patsies off. But I agree it's true. Vilma is better than any single LB on the team but the way that their LB Core plays as a core is better than our three.

    But without Bruschi? We'll see.

That will change this year. The Jets core will close the gap with the Pats this year. Does not mean the Pats will have a collapse, just that the Jets will be better and more improved.
